In cities, it's a question for everyone. Indeed, if people choose a place for life, the first thing that carries their minds is the existence of security, because security is an important indicator for raising the quality of social life, and one of the factors that it creates is its security. The purpose of this article is to investigate the environmental factors affecting the crime of theft. The study area is located in Qom, and areas 1 and 7 of this city have been investigated as a case. The research method is descriptive-analytic based on the scroll and is used by the questionnaire. The results of the research indicate that, from the viewpoint of residents in the Qom area, the indicator of the guardian of the neighborhood with an average of 4.21 could have the greatest impact on the reduction of theft crime and the population density has the least effect, on the other hand residents of the seven area increase the quality The door and windows with an average of 4.46 main factors in reducing the crime and providing the facilities and facilities for the better performance of the neighborhood by the municipality have the least impact. Also, there is a direct relationship between municipalities with a correlation coefficient of 0.48, such as physical protection of the neighborhood with a coefficient of 0.29 and a reduction in the crime of crime in areas 1 and 7, so the greater the physical protection and provision of facilities, facilities and urban infrastructure, the amount of theft in These areas will be reduced. معمولاً در هر شهری، مکانی وجود دارد که ما از آن به عنوان محلات خطرناک یاد می کنیم و در این مناطق جرائم به سادگی اتفاق می افتد و وقتی مجبور به گذر از این خیابان ها یا محلات هستیم فقط می خواهیم سریع عبور کرده و همیشه علل پیدایش چنین اماکنی در شهرها برای همگان جای سئوال دارد. در واقع اگر افراد مکانی را برای زندگی انتخاب می نمایند، حتماً اولین مسئله ای که ذهنشان را به خود مشغول می کند وجود امنیت است، چرا که امنیت یک شاخصه مهم برای بالا بردن کیفیت زندگی اجتماعی محسوب می شود و یکی از عواملی که امنیت را در فضا بوجود می آورد عوامل محیطی شکل دهنده به آن فضا است. به همین واسطه هدف مقاله حاضر، بررسی عوامل محیطی موثر بر وقوع جرم سرقت می باشد. محدوده مورد مطالعه شهر قم بوده و مناطق 1 و 7 این شهر به صورت موردی بررسی شده است. روش تحقیق توصیفی ـ تحلیلی بر پایه پیمایش است و از فن پرسشنامه استفاده شده است. نتایج تحقیق حاکی از آن است که از دیدگاه ساکنین منطقه یک شهر قم شاخصه نگهبان محله با میانگین4.21 می تواند در کاهش جرم سرقت بیشترین تاثیر را داشته و میزان تراکم جمعیت کمترین اثر را خواهد داشت، از طرف دیگر ساکنین منطقه هفت افزایش کیفیت درب و پنجره ها را با میانگین4.46عامل اصلی در کاهش جرم و گویه تامین امکانات و تاسیسات برای عملکرد بهتر محله از جانب شهرداری را دارای کمترین تاثیر می دانند. هم چنین بین توجه شهرداری ها با ضریب همبستگی48/0 همانند حفاظت فیزیکی محله با ضریب29/0و کاهش جرم سرقت در مناطق 1 و 7 ارتباط مستقیمی وجود دارد به طوری که هرچه حفاظت فیزیکی و تامین امکانات، تاسیسات و زیرساخت های شهری بیشتر باشد میزان جرم سرقت در این مناطق کاهش پیدا خواهد نمود.
