In farm animals practice, especially in meat producing animals, this technique is a relatively frequent and performed when normal parturition is not possible. Dystocia is the most important reason for cesarean procedure and survival of the cow and the calf, and maintenance of fertility are the main aims of cesarean in cattle. In this article, the history of this technique has been briefly mentioned and the aim of this article is to describe the indications of cesarean, decision making for surgery, preparaton of the patient, different cesarian surgical approaches, as well as post-operative cares and complications in cattle. جراحی سزارین یا لاپاروهیستروتومی یکی از قدیمی‏ترین روش‏های جراحی در طب دامپزشکی است. در حیوانات مزرعه، به‏خصوص دام های گوشتی، این روش نسبتا رایج است و هنگامی‏که زایمان معمول امکان‏پذیر نباشد، انجام می‏شود. سخت‏زایی مهم‏ترین دلیل انجام جراحی سزارین است. حفظ سلامت و بقای گاو و گوساله و همچنین حفظ قدرت باروری از مهم‏ترین اهداف سزارین در گاو هستند. هدف این مقاله، اشاره ای به تاریخچه ی این جراحی و نیز تشریح دلایل انجام جراحی سزارین، تصمیم‏گیری برای جراحی، نحوه ی آماده‏سازی بیمار، رهیافت‏های مختلف جراحی سزارین و انتخاب آن و همچنین مراقبت‏های پس از عمل و عوارض احتمالی پس از این جراحی در گاو است. http://eltiamjournal.ir/en/Article/Download/40747
