Although States are the main parties responsible for the realization of human rights, both at domestic and international levels, increased activities of international organizations on an international scale, especially in the field of human rights, have raised questions as to the role of these organizations in realizing the human right to food and how they discharge that role. As argued in this paper, international organizations play an effective and unique role in the realization of the right to food at the international level. It is also noted that such international bodies address different aspects of the various issues related to the right to food. The paper concludes that the main goal of such activities is to realize the human right to food, especially for the poor people suffering the worst from unfavorable food security in the world. حق بر غذا، حق بنیادین هر شخص، حق بر رهایی از گرسنگی و دسترسی پایدار به غذا با کیفیت و کمیتی‌ است که پاسخگوی نیازهای غذایی و فرهنگی او باشد. اگر‌چه تعهد اصلی اجرای حقوق بشر، چه در عرصه داخلی و چه بین‏المللی بر عهده دولت‌ها قرار گرفته‌ است، اما گسترش روز افزون دامنه فعالیت‌های سازمان‌های بین‌المللی در سطح بین‌الملل، به‌ویژه در زمینه حقوق بشر، این پرسش را بر می‌انگیزد که نقش سازمان‌های بین‌المللی در برآورده کردن حق بر غذای بشری چیست و سازمان‌های بین‌الملل چگونه این نقش را ایفا می‌نمایند. این مقاله نشان می‌دهد که سازمان‌های بین‌المللی نقش مؤثر و بی‌بدیلی در زمینه تحقق حق بر غذا در سطح بین‏المللی دارند. همچنین بیان می‌شود که این نهادها از جنبه‌های مختلفی به مسائل مرتبط با دستیابی به حق بر غذا ‌می‌پردازند. در نهایت نتیجه گرفته می‌شود که هدف از این فعالیت‌ها، دستیابی به حق بر غذای بشری، به‌ویژه برای مردمان تنگدستی‌ است که بیشترین آسیب را از وضعیت نامناسب امنیت غذایی در سطح جهانی متحمل شده‌اند. http://iojournal.csr.ir/en/Article/Download/37743
