The research method in this research is descriptive and content analysis type. In this research, the content of the social studies textbook has been examined and analyzed in terms of compliance with the components of the citizenship education approach. The purpose of the research was to investigate the use of citizenship education concepts in the content of social studies textbooks in elementary school. research method, quantitative content analysis; The statistical population of the research has been the textbook of social studies in elementary school. Nowadays, with the change of society in all social, economic, cultural and political matters, there is a need for citizens who have the ability to solve various personal and social problems and have the ability to build a better life. It is felt. In this context, one of the main institutions responsible for educating people and equipping them with various skills and attitudes to create a healthy society is the institution of education. Education of responsible and knowledgeable citizens is one of the most central and fundamental missions of education in different countries. Every country, in the form of formal and informal education, has the task of preparing its citizens to enter social, economic, political and cultural life, which it does in the form of direct education of citizenship through the inclusion of a course title of the same name or in the form of teaching different subjects. . Citizenship education is pursued at all levels of education, but this goal is in the primary period, where students are expected to play a role as a responsible and independent person in the development of their personal and social affairs and acquire relative abilities in performing social, political and economic tasks. It is especially important for educational systems. For this reason, in this research, an attempt is made to investigate the role of fifth and sixth grade social science books in the degree of attention paid to citizenship concepts. پژوهش حاضر باهدف تحلیل مفهوم شهروندی در کتاب‌های علوم اجتماعی ابتدایی انجام‌شده است. روش تحقیق در این پژوهش توصیفی و از نوع تحلیل محتوا می‌باشد. در این پژوهش، محتوای کتاب درسی مطالعات اجتماعی ازلحاظ مطابقت با مولفه های رویکرد تربیت شهروندی، بررسی و تحلیل‌شده است. هدف تحقیق، بررسی میزان استفاده از مفاهیم تربیت شهروندی در محتوای کتب درسی مطالعات اجتماعی در دوره ابتدایی بوده است. روش پژوهش، تحلیل محتوا از نوع کمی؛ جامعه آماری تحقیق، کتاب درسی مطالعات اجتماعی دوره ابتدایی بوده است امروزه با تغییر جامعه در کلیه شئون اجتماعی، اقتصادی، فرهنگی و سیاسی، نیاز به شهروندانی که توانایی حل مسائل مختلف فردی و اجتماعی را داشته و از قابلیت پی‌ریزی زندگی بهتر برخوردار باشند، بیشتر احساس می‌گردد. در این زمینه ازجمله نهادهای اصلی که پرورش افراد و تجهیز آن‌ها به مهارت‌ها و نگرش‌ها گوناگون برای ایجاد جامعه‌ای سالم را بر عهده دارد، نهاد آموزش‌وپرورش است. تربیت شهروندان مسئول و آگاه یکی از محوری‌ترین و بنیادی‌ترین رسالت‌های تعلیم و تربیت در کشورهای مختلف می‌باشد. هر کشوری در قالب آموزش رسمی و غیررسمی وظیفه آماده کردن شهروندان برای ورود به زندگی اجتماعی، اقتصادی، سیاسی و فرهنگی دارد که این کار در قالب آموزش مستقیم تربیت شهروندی از طریق گنجاندن عنوان درسی به همین نام و یا در قالب آموزش دروس مختلف انجام می‌دهد. آموزش شهروندی در کلیه سطوح تحصیلی دنبال می‌گردد امّا این هدف در دوره ابتدایی که از دانش‌آموز در آینده انتظار می‌رود به‌عنوان فردی مسئول و مستقل در پیشرفت امور فردی و اجتماعی خود ایفای نقش کرده و توانایی‌های نسبی در انجام وظایف اجتماعی، سیاسی و اقتصادی را کسب نماید، به‌طور ویژه موردتوجه نظام‌های آموزشی است. به همین دلیل در این تحقیق سعی می‌گردد تا نقش کتاب‌های علوم اجتماعی پایه پنجم و ششم ابتدایی در میزان توجه به مفاهیم شهروندی موردبررسی قرار گیرد. http://geo2.ir/ar/Article/Download/42653
