To do so, first by reviewing Avicenna&rsquo;s writings, the main characteristics of this concept, as was conceived by him, and its place in the cognitive architecture of human beings as well as other species were analyzed. In the next step, the characteristics of this concept and its function were compared with those of some concepts which are newly introduced by cognitive scientists.In the end, it was suggested that the concept of the vahm (estimative) faculty refers to a kind of knowledge or insight that is shared in both emotional and cognitive states, and in evolutionary terms, it has a close connection with some older systems of learning and behavior guidance. Considering these results, it was maintained that, a similarity can be recognized between this concept and some other concepts that are newly introduced in cognitive science Such as emotional awareness and cognitive feeling.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">هدف مقالة حاضر بازخوانی مفهوم قوّة وهمیّه با استفاده از برخی یافته&zwnj;ها و دیدگاه&zwnj;های جدید در حوزة علوم&zwnj;شناختی است. برای دست&zwnj;یافتن به این هدف، در قدم نخست با بررسی آثار ابن&zwnj;سینا، ویژگی&zwnj;های اصلی این مفهوم و نقش آن در معماری شناختی انسان و سایر موجودات مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. سپس ویژگی&zwnj;ها و کارکرد این سازة نظری با برخی از مفاهیمی که به تازگی در علوم&zwnj;شناختی مطرح شده&zwnj;اند، مقایسه گردید. مهم&zwnj;ترین نتایج حاصل از این بررسی عبارتند از اینکه مفهوم قوّة وهمیّه ناظر بر نوعی دانستن است که در مرز میان حالات عاطفی با حالات شناختی قرار دارد و دارای ارتباط تنگاتنگی با نظام&zwnj;های قدیمی&zwnj;تر یادگیری و هدایت رفتار به لحاظ تکاملی است. با توجه به این یافته&zwnj;ها می&zwnj;توان بین این مفهوم و برخی مفاهیمی که به&zwnj;تازگی در علوم&zwnj;شناختی مطرح شده&zwnj;اند، مانند هشیاری عاطفی یا احساس شناختی، نوعی مشابهت و نزدیکی پیدا کرد.</p> http://psychological-research.com/fa/Article/Download/52567
