He strives to highlight the problems of the war-torn people. The theme of this novel is clarifying the difficulties that have happened to the war-torn people. This library research has tried to analysis the elements of the story the "burnt earth" novel by Ahmad Mahmoud. View Angle is the first singular person that is expressed in the language of the main character. This novel is dealt with the story of the early months of the war and the events that took place in Ahwaz. Characters are less important than incidents and events and are marginized in this novel. The dialogues in this novel are suited to the social classes of people. The tone is serious and free from any jokes. The setting of the novel is also accompanied by fear and intimidation. احمد محمود، یکی از رمان نویسان معاصر است که با توجّه به محیط جغرافیایی محل زندگی‌اش جنگ و حوادث آن را، از نزدیک لمس کرده است. او سعی در بیان مشکلات و در به دری‌های مردم جنگ‌زده دارد. درونمایه این رمان، بیان مشکلات و گرفتاری‌هایی است که برای مردم جنگ‌ زده اتفاق افتاده است. این پژوهش به صورت کتابخانه‌ای به بررسی عناصر داستان رمان «زمین سوخته» اثر احمد محمود پرداخته است. زاویه دید، اول شخص مفرد است که از زبان شخصیّت اصلی بیان می‌شود. پی‌رنگ رمان، حکایت ماه‌های آغازین جنگ و حوادثی است که در شهر اهواز رخ داده است. شخصیّت‌ها نسبت به حوادث و اتّفاقات در حاشیه قرار می‌گیرند و اهمیّت کمتری دارند. گفت‌وگوها در این رمان با طبقات اجتماعی افراد متناسب است. لحن رمان جدی و به دور از شوخی است. فضای رمان نیز با دلهره و ترس همراه است. http://qpjournal.ir/fa/Article/Download/22321
