Mental health plays an important and fundamental role in people living better lives, their activity efficiency and their ability to function effectively in their lives. The aim of this study was to predict mental health based on sexual function of married women. This research is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included all married women in Bavanat city and 130 married women were selected as the sample size by available sampling method. Keys Mental Health Questionnaire (2002) and Sexual Function Questionnaire Rosen et al. (2000) were used to collect data. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression coefficient were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between mental health and sexual function of married women and the components of desire and satisfaction have a higher power in predicting mental health. The results showed that the better married women are in marital relationships, the more mental health they have. Therefore, good sexual performance can affect women's mental health. Study on the sexual knowledge of married women, in addition to its effect on mental health and community health, will lead to the stability and cohesion of the family and married life and reduce divorce in society.
